| Event Details: | THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST
Join us on a road trip to West Point to support our Falcons as they battle the Black Knights of the Hudson in ourr quest to reclaim the Commander in Chief's Trophy. We plan to depart Northern Virginia early in the morning of 1 November, travel directly to West Point for a tailgate party, root for our team on the field, and then adjourn to a local motel to savor the victory and spend the night. We will return after breakfast on 2 November, arriving home in the early afternoon. Pick-up and return location is the Arlington Career Center, 816 S. Walter Reed Drive, in Arlington. Overnight room arrangements and tailgate tickets are the responsibility of the individuals making the trip. Make your reservations at the Fishkill Holiday Inn Express by calling 845-896-4001 and referring to the Air Force Academy group rate. Rooms (a king or double queens) are approximately $120, with an additional fee of $10 per person if bunking as a family. If you must cancel, you can do so without cost if cancelling by 4PM on 31 October. Time for the tailgate is three hours before kickoff. Because the schools are negotiating a TV deal, kickoff time is in the air, so we are hoping for a 2PM or later kickoff. If timing works out and you wish to go to the AOG-sponsored tailgate, cost is $35-$40 (1/2 for kids). Tickets for the tailgate are a separate item, and can be purchased by visiting the following link and clicking on "Buy Tickets" http://goairforcefalcons.cstv.com/tickets/afa-tickets.html Cost for the bus and game ticket is $95 apiece. GOOD DEAL!!! If you are a current AFASW member (ie, dues are paid up), your AFA Society will subsidize your seat to the tune of $20. Check your status easily by looking at the bottom of the e-mail that alerted you to this trip if you are or have been an AFA Society member. To reserve your seat on the bus and at the stadium, please RSVP on this site, ensuring you click "Submit" on the RSVP page and follow through completely with the payment via PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account but credit card information will be required if you are not. This guarantees your seats and ensures the information is properly tabulated and communicated to your tour director.
